What fantastic weather we have at the moment, huh?
I think we are all ready for some sunshine.
Of course Tantilly has beautiful winter dresses in the collection, we have enjoyed them immensely in recent months, but I myself have the feeling and the urge to get the spring/summer dresses out of the closet again, do you too?
One of the dresses that really gives you a summer feeling is a Flamenco dress. The word Flamenco probably makes you think of that beautiful Spanish dance and beautiful long black and red dresses, but did you know that Tantilly also has Flamenco dresses?
And they are quite similar to the original Flamenco dress!
No, they are not that long and usually not black and red, but such a cute ruffle can be found on every dress.
Especially for you I have tried on some beautiful dresses and combined them so that you can get some inspiration.

The first dress I would like to introduce you to is the Flamenco wrap dress – sky blue .
This is one of the few models with long sleeves, so if you find the Flamenco dress with the short sleeves that I will show you next a bit too fresh, then this is a perfect alternative for this time of year. The dress is made of stretch cotton.
I have combined the dress here with ochre leggings, but of course you can also wear dark blue leggings, or even pink or green (especially in combination with such a nice green flower belt). Perfect for a sunny spring day, a jacket or cardigan is not necessary!
If you think: I don't like long sleeves, I have two summery versions for you. I'll start with the Flamenco red dress romantic flowers.
This dress is a very cheerful, sunny item made of travel fabric, so ideal to take on holiday because it does not crease in your suitcase and it dries quickly after washing.
And the fun thing is: you can actually wear her in different ways. I would also like to show you that for inspiration. First the summer version:

It also works fine in summer weather without leggings, but I didn't want to show you my snow-white legs, haha! But it also works fine with a sandal underneath.

But tell me… I like that dress, but I think this is still too fresh, I have another combination for you:
Add a nice cardigan (this is a Tantaya cardigan, also for sale at Tantilly), replace the sandals with a nice boot like cool cowboy boots - I'm a huge fan of those myself - and you're all set for the cooler days in spring. With a bit of luck, you won't even need to wear a coat over it. And if the morning starts off a bit cold but it gets warmer during the day, you can still take off that cardigan!

This dress also has short sleeves.
The fabric is stretch cotton, just like the first dress. All the dresses I just showed you work with the same wrapping system. You wrap the dress around you, there is a ribbon attached to the dress that you pull through a loop at your waist and then you can tie the dress around you as tight or loose as you want. And yes, this was the moment that my son Fedde got involved.
Because when mommy is in the picture, he wants to be in it too. He loves the Tantilly dresses and says with every one: "Ooh, mommy has a beautiful dress!" But enough about Fedde.
As you can see, I have styled the dress in a lovely summery way and I am ready for all the summer barbecues that are coming up.

Combine this dress with a beautiful ikat! and in terms of colours the choice is huge, I chose a dark blue ikat here, because I think it is a very nice colour with the forest green leggings that I have underneath. But you can also combine this look perfectly with one of the green ikats (think spinach green or sea green) or with a white ikat. Or put two on top of each other, that also gives a nice effect and makes the fabric a bit thicker. Here too I chose a nice cowboy boot under my outfit.
