What size do I need? Help choosing your right size at Tantilly

We get a lot of questions from ladies who don't know Tantilly, which size fits their figure. This blog is for you with clear information about sizes, materials and doubts when choosing. ;)

First of all, these are Tantilly's ready-to-wear sizes:

We often fall on the smaller side, so if you doubt, it is usually a size bigger. Especially if you have a slightly larger size, then it is often not nice to wear it completely tight around your body.

There are some standard 'rules' for sizing.

*Non-stretch cotton is less flexible, so we always recommend ordering one size larger.

*There are just a few items that fit differently. Order your normal size, and we will normally send the appropriate size of your item. So you can never go wrong.

Is the article small, and you order a M? Then we will send you 'wearing size' M, so that it fits. If we have any doubts, we will send you a message.

We call this custom service. If we were to send you a different 'wearing size', we would always include a card with the information.

*rayon items are generally a little longer, because rayon as a fabric always shrinks a little in length. An average garment shrinks 2 to 3 cm in length with hand washing. For rayon items it is therefore not a bad thing to not take the length so seriously, since it becomes a little shorter.

How easy is that?

Based on measurements, photos and previous orders we can easily determine what size you would need. If necessary we will send you multiple sizes if we are in doubt, and if in the worst case we make a mistake, it is at our risk, and we will send you a return ticket.

This makes it even easier to shop online. :)

If you see a combination size on the website, it means that you can wear it in multiple sizes, often because there is an extra elastic band at the back of a pair of trousers or a dress, for example, or because there is a belt that you can adjust yourself.

Size Chart

Explanation of size chart on our website:

• All dimensions you see are of an article lying flat on a table, measured. Always single, so e.g. the OTO (armpit to armpit) is from left to right, measured single.
• Line A is the length of e.g. the dress, line B is the width measured only from armpit to armpit, and line C is the waist measured only, from left to right.
• Note: Be aware that many fabrics are stretchy, and measurements may vary slightly due to the stretch in the fabric.

Washing instructions tips:

Was:

• all our articles at 30 degrees Celsius maximum.
• inside out, this way all fabrics and colours will stay beautiful for longer.
• always with similar colors together
• never together with jeans, to prevent 'chafing', because jeans are a stiff material.
• with a liquid detergent.
