Fitting session according to the dress sisters

After the photoshoot for Tantilly (yes, that shoot with regular, everyday women as models… and Brad Pitt regularly walking by) all hell broke loose.

Well, with Angelique then. Angelique thought it would be fun to join. So after a lot of texting I said yes this time too. Sunday June 13, 2021 we would show the clothes live for the first time.

And this 'yes' was also a bit of a shock (just like the photoshoot): what did I promise? What am I going to do to myself?

The moment was getting closer. Boy, how nervous! On Sunday itself we will first have to try on. Yes, nice sets! And during the live fitting session we will be helped. Great. And before we even start, I am already so hot…. Opening the door to the patio doesn’t help. Standing outside doesn’t help either. But, from my pink suitcase I conjure up a washcloth. Quickly under the cold tap. And dab. It only helps for a little while. Angelique says: Yes, that was the day you looked at me… “WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!? So… You go first!!!

In the end it is so much fun to do that we participate more often. At a next fitting session I even enter the stage first. And we also just have fun during the show. And this multiple times.

Different hosts. Different helpers. Lunch afterwards. Recover in the shop or on the patio. Try on some more things (you would think that you would be done with that after an hour and a half… Uhmmm… We certainly aren’t 😉 )

But also try out a different setup on the set, because you have participated before. Or the comment: there are no reinforcements, but you participate.

And you've done this before, so you can do this yourself.

And you know, how nice is such a remark. On the other hand, reinforcements are really nice. Because gosh, it's really hard work.

And if one of the ladies helps you with a zipper, tying a ribbon, putting away a price tag or just doing a quick check, that remains very pleasant even after several fitting sessions.

Angelique watches every fitting session. I don't really. That remains a bit of a thing (sorry ladies, even all those hearts and nice comments still don't make me look at myself for an hour and a half 😉 ).

What I always like are the memories Clasien makes after the fitting session. Of yourself, but also of the models together.

And no, even then I have comments on myself. And despite that, I still participate in the fitting session. In 2022 we were allowed to kick off the fitting sessions.

We had so much fun during the preparations. And even more fun during the fitting session itself. And now we have closed 2022. And we have already started 2023. A year in which we want to wish you a fair trade, print-rich, crazy, colorful and out-of-your-comfort-zone year!

And we will definitely make an appearance again at one of the fitting sessions.
