Elvira skirt & twisted top on the beach

Sometimes things just don't work out... I wanted to post this blog earlier, but then... I got sick and after that I didn't get around to taking pictures with my husband anymore.

Because I thought it would be really cool to photograph this awesome set from Tantilly outside.

But maybe it was meant to be, because last week we had a wonderful time in Zeeland and how cool is it that you can take pictures on the beach!

Earlier this month I was allowed to walk in the fashion show of Tantilly .

Of course you have already been able to read all about this in my blog.

I also said then that there would be a sequel and tadaaa here I am. I was allowed to pick out something nice from Chantal. That is of course awesome! I added a contribution myself so that I ended up with this super set.

From the day I saw this outfit I was completely in love with it; the pattern, the colours and the idea that you can get a dress effect from a skirt and a shirt (which often suits my figure better) really appealed to me.

But because I don't have anything from Tantilly yet, I didn't dare to order it and since I knew I would be going anyway, I thought it would be better to wait and try it on.

It's a good thing I did, because it turned out I had a different size than I usually have.

The fabric this set is made of (95% polyester and 5% elastane) is a very fine and pleasant fabric that I had never seen or felt before.

It's very soft or something, very supple and it falls so nicely around your body that you don't see any 'edges'. And that makes it very attractive for us women of course!

I have size 44 and usually wear size XL, in some cases I also wear size L.

From this set I am wearing the skirt in size L.

The band measures 40 cm measured flat. The skirt is 60 cm long. You can stretch the band quite a bit. The skirt costs 54.99.

The shirt has a V-neck and a wrap-over.

And then it comes; the part at the bottom is made in such a way that the shirt conceals a little belly.

I first wore size l, but on the stomach part all the fabric 'swam' around me. With size m this 'problem' was solved. I was afraid that size m would be too tight at my shoulder, which are quite wide, but that is not the case.

The arm length is also still good for my long arms.

The shirt, in size m, measures 44 cm from armpit to armpit. Normally I need an Oto of 48 cm, but this fabric stretches.

The bottom of the shirt measures 52 cm. The shirt costs 54.99.

To complete this set I'm wearing a bright pink legging. I have quite a few leggings, but I didn't have this color yet.

And since I prefer leggings over tights, this is a nice addition.

The leggings are available in size s/m and l/xl. I wear size l/xl of the leggings. The leggings are loose, there is a lot of stretch in them. The waistband measures 36 cm measured flat. The leggings cost 24.99.

The scarf is different on both sides.

So I passed with flying colours at Tantilly!

Of course you can always send a message if you have doubts about the size, but hopefully you can use my size advice. All dresses I tried on fit me well in size L.

Except for the cotton dresses, which are new to the range, size L did not fit me, because the material is a lot stiffer.
